Duluth Adventist Christian School, DACS,  is devoted to excellence in teaching, learning, and research, and developing leaders in many disciplines who make a difference globally.

  • International focus – our students come from across the globe

  • Adventist Edge Curriculum – we encourage learning and growth

  • People not profits – education is a right not a privilege

The Duluth Adventist Christian School is operated in harmony with the guidance and direction of the Office of Education, North American Division of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.

OUR VALUES

Duluth Adventist Christian School’s goal is to provide a spiritually oriented education for children. A belief in the existence of the Creator God is fundamental in the philosophy of Seventh-day Adventist schools.

We strive to:

  • develop a personal relationship with God and his fellow men as stated in Matthew 2:37-39.

  • master the basic academic skills and value labor, both physical and mental.

  • cultivate physical fitness, mental ability, and moral purity as the blessing God intended.

DACS’ philosophy is to meet the needs of the whole child.

DACS teachers, who are part of the Adventist Edge system,  follow a constructivist philosophy. We encourage students to use active techniques (experiments, real-world problem solving) to expand their knowledge and enhance their understanding of the world. Dialogue and collaboration are crucial to the process.
